I used to tell my girlfriends to take no shit, know their worth and love themselves… meanwhile I was eating 600 calories per day, spending 1.5 hours on the stairmaster and searching for “love” in my empty sex life. ???? I felt the shittiest about myself when I was the thinnest, leanest bean wearing a “love yourself” crop top and I felt the absolute BEST when I was 50 pounds heavier, wearing a bikini at the beach and flaunting my yummy rolls. ???? You see, #selflove is NOT about loving yourself all the damn time. It’s NOT about “feeling pretty” and it’s most certainly not about achieving a certain size, shape and weight. My body tells a story of a girl who went from a very narrow definition of self-love (fitness, appearance, performance) to a woman who knows that self-love has no boundaries. Stop being afraid to take up SPACE (physically, emotionally and spiritually). ???? You, my love, were born to play a BIG game in this world and it’s time to own that shit. ???? Hands up if you’re with me ????????????????????? . . THAT ^^^ is why I’m hosting worldwide self-love retreats this year… to help you fall in love with yourself while connecting you with others on the same path. ??????? Come have a giant, self-lovin’ sleepover with me June 10-17th in Bali, baby! ???? Apply through the liink in my bio, only 3 spots left! ?? . . . . #selfloveisthebestlove #beyoutiful #allbodiesaregoodbodies #nobodyshame #effyourbeautystandards #everyBODYisbeautiful #gainingweightiscool #womensempowerment #bodypositive #selfloveretreat #selfconfidence #bodyconfident #bodyconfidence

Back when I was training for bikini shows, I remember talking to another competitor about our diets… She shared with me how her coach “lets” her have 1/2 cup of rice at 12 PM. My ego immediately perked up and I remember pridefully saying “Oh wow, that’s so much food! I only get 1/4 cup!” ???? Since I quit my obsessive fitness lifestyle, I’ve still seen these types of humble-bragging conversations come up EVERYWHERE... People bragging about how little they sleep, how they “hustle” to the point of exhaustion, how their life is more complicated/ harder/ worse. This baffles me because abusing your mind, body, spirit is NOT a badge of honor. I often get asked how to balance health with self-love and the main key here is to make decisions out of LOVE for yourself, NOT to punish yourself, “make up for” what you ate or to have that “perfect” body you saw on IG. ?? ? How would you treat your (future) daughter or dearest friend? ? Are you weighing all aspects of health (mental, emotional, spiritual AND physical)? And here’s the hardest question: ?If you talked to your best friend how you talk to yourself, would she still be your friend? Self-talk is hard but everything you tell yourself can either be a punch in the stomach or a warm, loving hug so choose wisely. ???? . . ???? Do you struggle with negative self-talk??It’s time to shift that inner dialogue into more empowering and self-lovin’ conversations! ???? . . . #bodyconfidence #selftalk #womenempoweringwomen #selflove #selfcare #transformationtuesday #loveyourself #balancednotclean #foodfreedom #bodylove #loveyourbody #allbodiesaregoodbodies #selfconfidence
